Callum embraced the project, first of all considering how the fitted living room furniture would sit in the space and planned the dimensions and structure. It was essential to make sure the furniture didn’t overwhelm the living space, but nevertheless met the clients storage requirements.

This resulted in a gorgeous fitted storage unit that not just looks fantastic but also satisfies the client needs beautifully, becoming a striking frame to this casual spacious living area. Storage needs were thoroughly planned and tailored in harmony with the living room. The bespoke storage unit is accented, by handmade oak fireplace and luxurious engineered flooring.

The customer was thrilled with the outcome, which they said far surpassed their expectations. They were especially delighted with the back lighting that showcases their collection of ornaments.

Living room bespoke furniture design works:

Bespoke In-Frame Kitchen

An excellent illustration of Smith’s 1909 Timeless hardwood painted bespoke in-frame kitchen and utility room with quarts worktops. In pastel hues, which beautifully marries classic and modern shaker design. A refined perspective complemented by sleek, unembellished worktops and matt pastel finish with contemporary kitchen equipment.

The refined, styling in this home natural invited a more conventional kitchen but with simple design lines, to match the unequivocal layout of the home interior. Created with hand crafted Shaker style kitchen cabinetry, a unique bespoke in-frame kitchen concept was manufactured and finished exquisite contrasting pastel tones.

Functionality remained at the vanguard of this kitchen design, striving for the ideal “working triangle”. For instance, the large pantry unit, adequate to dry store food and ingredient for a large family, is located next to the integrated ovens, backing on to the kitchen sink.

Bespoke In-Frame Kitchen and Building Works:

• Complete strip out of the old kitchen, flooring, ceiling and Upvc door/window.
• All new electrics and plumbing for kitchen and utility room were then installed
• New plasterboard ceiling was installed, kitchen was then skimmed.
• Floor was screeded with Ardex NA.
• Natural stone was laid throughout kitchen and utility room with a sealer and protector coat.
• The kitchen was installed with many bespoke features such as a pantry unit and dovetailed draws, open oak bookshelf and custom made boiler housing unit.
• New doors, windows skirting and utility room cupboard with custom interior to house ironing board was also built.
• Quartz worktops with a quooker boiling water tap and metro tiles completed this kitchen.
• Decoration also included TV and sound system.

The clients visited 4 kitchen specialist before meeting and selecting Smiths Interiors. After visiting the Smiths Interior showroom, they discovered that we had precisely what they were searching for and we provided a level of service they had not experienced from other kitchen suppliers.

They decided to work with us because of our experience and knowledge of modern handmade kitchens. We worked directly with the clients to evolve their vision into reality and deliver their dream kitchen. we managed the entire project from the removal of the old kitchen, to the final minute detail with the new design.

They planned to purchase a exclusive, stylish and functional modern handmade kitchen that was going to complement the their home. The choice was a clean, white high gloss feel, with handle free kitchen units for a streamlined look. They also elected for solid oak worktops, to enhance the desire for practicality and look amazing under the lighting. Bespoke Bathroom & Ensuite

As an element of a substantial redevelopment of their home the clients took the opportunity to commission a new bespoke master ensuite wet-room and bespoke bathroom design.

Our clients original bathroom that was rather dated.  The pair were originally unsure what they wished to develop in a functional and aesthetical feeling but following the first appointment with Smiths Interiors and several design revisions the clients’ brief was to produce smart and elegant bespoke bathrooms that felt both stylish and modern.

The clients indicated a need for storage space that had to be intrinsic to the entire design and not compromise the fresh and contemporary styling. As part of this installed an underfloor heating system, replaced the current pipework and fittings, mounted a shaving socket in the window recess.

The brief for the bespoke ensuite bathroom was to build a spacious walk-in shower with no bath as this would be installed in the main bespoke bathroom. The wish was for the room to be minimalistic and serene. This was rather a limited space so I believe the wet-room concept was the correct approach. It opened the room up and created that illusion of more space.
